Keep Moving

What’s Good Werk Fam?!

They won’t understand. People may never understand what you deal with. They may never know what you have been through. They may never know “how hard it was” for you... But everyone can relate to struggling.

Everyone has/had/will have something that they struggle with. We all face hard times. We are common in that rain falls on us all. Since we have this mutual truth- how do we learn to continue when we face difficulties?

First,

how do we think of the struggle? Do we see it as a problem that has come to hider us? Do we see it as an opportunity to grow? Perception is everything. If we plan to move forward let us see the opportunity.

Second,

who’s fault is your struggle? Who can you blame? Are you a victim? I find it harder to move forward if we have someone/something to blame for our condition. Even in times where the action of another played part in the situation we face, the life in front of us is ours. Let’s take responsibility for where we are. Because, whoever is responsible for where we are controls where we will go. The moment we become a victim we release power.

Third,

what do you believe? What ideas do you have about yourself? Are you able to accomplish hard things? What encourages you to be confident even in times of struggle? I find what you believe determines your plan of action when facing adversity.

Since struggles are common... what’s the plan to keep moving?

First,

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8 28

For if we see all things working for our good, we see opportunities in even the most stressful situations.

Second,

“Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.” Romans 8 37

No matter the situation- we are conquerors. We are able to move through troubled waters with peace because we know who is with us. No matter the situation or the actions that lead to the situation... we are sure that we can overcome. Look not to the why-focus on how. Focus on how you getting through this will grow you. How this battle will be another in the book of faith. How you will share the great victory you experience because you kept moving forward.

Third,

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3: 5-6

Since our body follows our mind- let us place our mind on the things God says about us. Let our minds trust that there is a plan for good. Let us remember God will never leave or forsake us. Let us think about “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Jeremiah 29:11

To keep moving forward: WERK!

We all will struggle but muscle is not built through comfort. Allow the plans of the Lord to strengthen you.

Keep God First. Since nothing is too hard for God, AINT NUN BUT SUM WERK!

Love.
